Wild Wild Sourdough Child Anna

Hi! I'm Anna Kaigle. I grew up in Milton, VT, where I currently live with my family. My sourdough journey began one fateful afternoon in 2018 when I purchased an old cookbook for 25 cents at a garage sale. Since then, it has been a long road of self-taught bread making, filled with many lumps and bumps and plenty of rock-hard bread, but its been a blast. Seeing my skills grow and my loaves improve has been so rewarding. I continued baking through high school and college, and started hosting bread sales around 2020 to fill my time at home. Most rewarding of all has been the connection found through bread, whether by meeting new people buying my bread, sharing a recipe or part of my starter, or simply by eating dinner together. Baking and bread-gifting has become my love language. There is such comfort to be found in the folds and bubbles of a good sourdough loaf.
